 | | SPECTUS PROFILE “BRONZED AND BEAUTIFUL” | | | Spectus | | 07/02/2008 | | | J. F. BODMAN and Sons recently completed a large project in Doncaster. The company fabricated and installed 50 casement windows, French doors and a two storey conservatory to properties worth £600,000 each in Spectus’ Elite 70 profile and sprayed it all bronze! The unusual house, owned by property developers, was renovated in 2007. The large conservatory, complete with spiral staircase, was part of an extension.
Bodmans was able to produce the bronze colour with its own Kolorbond™ coating spray facility: “The paint chemically bonds to the surface of the PVC-U and has the same lifespan,” says Adrian Bodman, General Manager. “The Spectus profile works well because it’s versatile and guaranteed to last. Old aluminium windows were replaced and PVC-U was specified due to the increased energy efficiency. Demand for colour is increasing, especially for domestic jobs - our customers are big fans of the cream profile, and we can get a wide variety of finishes from Spectus. But with spray facilities we can offer a unique service.”
Bodmans also fabricated and installed the windows and doors for two further houses developed by the homeowner on the same third acre land! | |
