 | | NEW CAMPAIGN PROMOTES ACOUSTIC SYSTEM | | | Flowcrete Group plc | | 08/05/2008 | | | A new campaign has been launched to promote Isocrete Acoustic K, the pioneering screed and sound-proofing combination system from Flowcrete.
Earlier this year, the leading flooring experts launched the new acoustic flooring solution, designed to take the strain out of compliance with Approved Document E for house builders.
Now, a new direct mail campaign – ‘As Quiet As A Mouse, As Warm As Toast’ – has been introduced to raise awareness of the system to house builders.
A new brochure is also planned and technical information is available from the Flowcrete website.
Isocrete Acoustic K combines noise-reduction efficiency with the proven performance of Isocrete screeds, which have been used in house building projects across the UK for almost 40 years.
It complies with Building Regulations, is approved by the British Board of Agrément and offers a weight-saving reduced screed thickness. The system also allows for an early installation of sensitive finishes, such as carpet, vinyl or tiles, over the substrate.
The system comes as a ‘one-stop shop’ format, where the acoustic resilient layer and screed is installed as a complete system on site by just one trained applicator.
Alan Dean, Sales Director of Flowcrete, said: “Isocrete Acoustic K is a complete system, not just components, and has been brought into the market with an emphasis on a quality installation.
“Test results from independent sources show it achieved results well in excess of the requirements set out by Approved Document E, of the Building Regulations 2003.
“The system will deliver peace of mind for house builders in that they can achieve a high acoustic performance, with just one contractor responsible for the entire procedure.” | |
