DUNLOP ADHESIVES MAKES SHOW STOPPING APPEARANCE AT NMBS

Leading manufacturer of tile adhesives, grouts and finishing products enjoys considerable success at key merchant’s exhibition.

Pioneering manufacturer of tile adhesives, grouts and finishing products, Dunlop Adhesives recently enjoyed a highly successful appearance at the NMBS exhibition. Held at the Telford International Centre on the 14th May 2008, the key industry event attracted scores of independent builder’s merchants.

The company used the exhibition to showcase one of its newest products, Standard Set Plus which was launched in January this year. This floor and wall tile adhesive accommodates the increasing popularity of large format wall tiles (over 300mm x 300mm) and tiles made from porcelain and natural stone.

As well as offering exceptional bond strength, Standard Set Plus provides end-users with a longer working time. As a marked improvement over most other flexible adhesives, it actually allows up to 30 minutes for tiles to be adjusted or repositioned. It is also highly versatile and can be used on both walls and floors as well as internally and externally – meaning customers need only buy, and stock, one product rather than several.

In addition, the innovative manufacturer focused on its anti-mould range. Consisting of grouts and sealants, these products employ Microban? - one of the world’s best known and most effective anti-bacterial agents. This makes them ideal for use in kitchens or in bathrooms where warm, humid conditions can often lead to the growth of fungi and mould.

Finally, and demonstrating its commitment to supporting distributors from start to finish, Dunlop Adhesives used the event as an opportunity to promote marketing initiatives such as the Dunlop Sporting Year.

Designed to help merchants boost sales, this promotion builds on the strong association between the Dunlop brand and sport. To incentivise people towards Dunlop Adhesive products, it offers end-users the chance to win free tickets to major sporting events throughout 2008, including the Italian Grand Prix in Monza in September.
