CATNIC APPOINTS NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR

Building materials specialist, Catnic, has today announced the promotion of Christine Wilde to Managing Director, succeeding Malcolm Boyles who has been appointed as UK Director for Corus Building Systems.

Christine, who has spent nine years as Finance Director at Catnic enthused: “I am relishing the opportunity to head up this world famous brand. We will continue to grow our market share and continue to develop technically superior and innovative products.”

On his replacement, Malcolm Boyles comments: “It was important to appoint someone who understands the intricate market dynamics of Catnic. Christine has been an integral part of Catnic’s success in recent years and her appointment as Managing Director ensures continuity for the long-term strategic vision of Catnic.”

Catnic has pioneered the steel lintel for more than three generations. Far from just leading, Catnic has worked with BSI to establish the standards for lintels in the UK. Part of Corus, the market leading steel producer, Catnic draws on a vast technical knowledge of steel combined with a comprehensive business that is able to provide an almost unlimited combination of steel based solutions.
