FOUR NEW SALES COUNTERS EXTEND TOOLSTATION REGIONAL COVERAGE

Toolstation has just opened four new sales counters in line with its accelerated expansion strategy.

The new regional sales counters in Poole, Warrington, Birkenhead and Reading all opened in the last month extending the company’s coverage across the UK which now stretches from Glasgow to Exeter. They carry everything from powertools, screws, fixings and sealants, to heating and plumbing, electrical and hardware products.

All Toolstation’s 10,000 product lines are stock items and customers can choose to order by phone or online for delivery to site or pick up at a sales counter. Customers can also set up their order online with a unique reference code which can be presented at a sales counter for immediate pick-up of stock items, saving customers even more time.

The accelerated expansion strategy will see 30 Toolstation Sales Counters open by the end of 2008, with the plan to have some 100 outlets operating in 5 years time.
