Leading manufacturer of tile adhesives, grouts and finishing products set to exhibit at key merchant’s event.

Dunlop Adhesives is gearing up to make a show stopping appearance at Unimer’s annual flagship event - Unimer Day 2008. To be held at the Celtic Manor resort in Newport, Wales on 16th – 17th July, the key industry show attracts thousands of builders’ merchants and promises to be even bigger and better this year.

The leading manufacturer plans to further raise the high profile of the brand by showcasing its innovative range of tile adhesives, grouts and finishing products including its anti-mould range.
What’s more, to demonstrate its commitment to helping merchants generate significant sales, the company plans to promote its unique marketing initiatives such as the Dunlop Sporting Year competition.

Designed to help merchants boost sales, this promotion builds on the strong association between the Dunlop brand and sport. To incentivise people towards Dunlop Adhesive products, it offers end-users the chance to win free tickets to major sporting events throughout 2008, including the Italian Grand Prix in Monza in September. This exciting prize also includes flights and accommodation.

Furthermore, to celebrate the new, improved format of the Unimer Day event (which includes an extended trade exhibition), the company plans to run a special offer giving merchants the chance to enjoy 35% off a mixed pallet of some of its most popular products.

Speaking of the company’s upcoming appearance at the show, Debi Bailey, Senior Product Manager at Dunlop Adhesives commented: “At Dunlop Adhesives we take pride in working together with stockists from start to finish and the Unimer Day will give us the perfect opportunity to demonstrate this partnership approach to merchants.

She added: “We are really looking forward to this year’s show as the actual exhibition itself has been extended and a ‘Meet the Merchants’ session has been added. This is ideal as it gives us more of an opportunity to meet the merchants and to find out more about their individual needs and requirements with a view to developing appropriate solutions to ensure they are generating healthy sales.”
