The latest model of the popular CopperHead® Laser Screed® - the XD™ 3.0 - is lightweight, compact and offers even better performance than its market leading predecessor the XD™ 2.0.

Using Somero’s patented laser leveling technology to cut the concrete to a finished grade, screed it flat, and vibrate it smooth in one pass, the CopperHead® XD™ 3.0 sets grade automatically allowing the operator to move quickly and efficiently through the work area. The powerful hydraulic drive motors keep the XD™ 3.0 pulling low slump concrete and riding smoothly over chaired rebar and other obstacles.

Responsive as ever to customer feedback, Somero has added a host of new features to the new XD™ 3.0. Among them is a 13 HP engine, which provides increased power for the drive train, resulting in smoother ride. The new engine incorporates a convenient electric starter motor and has an increased capacity fuel tank which offers nearly twice the run time of the previous model the XD™ 2.0.

A modified control panel and adjustable handlebars make overall handling easier for the operator, and a removable hydraulic kickstand wheel makes it a much simpler task to move the machine without the head assembly. The head is easier to clean as well.

Somero includes training in the package price, and as always there is excellent customer support and after sales service, with a 24-hour customer support line for technical advice.
