NEW VANDAL RESISTANT ACCESS CONTROL READER FROM FDI

Access control manufacturer FDI has introduced a new vandal resistant reader.

The Proxter vandal resistant reader is compatible with the Transit stand alone access control system as well as Passan, FDIs IP based access management system which can remotely control over IP 192 card readers and 2700 users per site.

The new reader’s slim dimensions make it an attractive solution for both internal and external use in office, commercial property and residential environments. It is designed to be installer friendly and can be connected using just three wires. The Proxter reader’s integral LEDs flash when an access control token, ID card or Blipper is presented in close proximity to the reader and change to green when the token is recognised as being valid.
