 | | NEWLEC CONVERTS LUCKY CUSTOMERS | | | Newey & Eyre | | 07/08/2008 | | | There’s nothing mad about being ‘Mad about Newlec’, as demonstrated when Newey & Eyre recently unveiled the champion of its highly-publicised ‘Convert to Newlec’ competition – with the winner driving home a brand new SAAB convertible which he will keep for a year.
To celebrate the continued success of its popular own brand, the leading electrical wholesaler held a special prize draw for customers who ‘converted to Newlec’ and Mark Jackson, managing director of Jackson Rich, one of the North West’s largest electrical and mechanical engineering companies, has been announced as the lucky winner of the main prize. Other winners included a customer who won a Porsche convertible for the weekend, and 50 more ‘converters’ who won a remote control Ferrari each.
Mark recently met with the team at his local Rochdale branch to pick up his new wheels and commented: “We have worked closely with Newey & Eyre for more than 30 years, and while the team has always been able to help us to reduce costs by using their purchasing power with leading manufacturers, the cost-effectiveness of the Newlec brand has helped us to make even bigger savings. Combining affordability with high quality, the wide range of Newlec products available means we can use them for a number of applications without comprising on performance.”
“For me, the cost-saving benefit attached to using Newlec is reward enough in itself, so to have won this amazing prize as well is just fantastic.”
Luke Biddle, marketing manager at Newey and Eyre says: “From speaking to our customers, it’s clear that once they have tried Newlec there’s no going back. I would like to congratulate Mark on his win and take this chance to remind all those who haven’t yet tried the products that there’s never been a better time to ‘convert to Newlec’.” | |
