 | | ROOF WINDOWS BY THE DOZEN FOR DRILL HALL REFURBISHMENT | | | Fakro GB Ltd | | 06/10/2008 | | | The recent refurbishment of Halifax’s Victorian, Grade 2 listed Drill Hall used no fewer than 130 Fakro conservation grade roof windows in combinations of three and five. The building, designed by architect Richard Coad, then Chief Assistant to Sir George Gilbert Scott,
The building’s original occupants were the Fourth West Riding (Halifax) Rifle Volunteers, later the First Volunteer Battalion (Duke of Wellington's) West Riding Regiment. | |
