Behind the Isolgomma success there is more than 30 years of experience and quality research that made its brand renowned worldwide. It is a success obtained thanks to the use of different technology that has been developed using recycled rubber especially designed for the production of sound insulation for the building sector, industry, transport and sporting facilities.
“In 2009 we will enter our 20th year supplying Isolgomma’s products to the building industry and homeowners around the UK. We have recently introduced another of their products for reducing sound under laminate flooring, making 5 products in total.” Describes Steve Backhouse in the Despatch Team.
With just two of the products Sound Service (Oxford) has managed to recycle 146,940 rubber car tires which equates to 1,634 tons of rubber.
The range, known in the UK as “Acousticel”, is ideal for treating walls and floors for new build and conversion and customers experience an easy and simple installation when fixing the products.
Due to the proven success of the Acousticel brand many builders’ merchants and small independent soundproofing companies also now stock the line making it available for collection in the main UK cities.
